I love mint - it's my favourite wedding colour. Here are my finds for a Mint Wedding Palette. Click beyond the jump to find out where to find some Minty Fresh wedding goodies.
BRIDAL ATTIRE
I'm equally delighted and devastated by the new bridal lines on the British Highstreet. Delighted because *finally* the UK Wedding Industry seems to be bringing in designs worthy of a "Style it Pretty" Wedding and moving forward to more comfortable and fashionable attire and colouring, and devastated for the exact same reason. Why could they not have done this in time for our Wedding last year? WHY?!
New Bridal Collection at BHS |
BHS have massively upped their game - don't know if they've got new buyers, new designers, or both, but the Wedding range at the minute is beautiful. And they've included MINT to the colour ranges - hurrah! My Favourites are the Hope Gown for the Bride, and the Sofia dress for Bridesmaids.
SHOES
Waterlily Snapdragon by Ravel |
I'm still a touch disappointed that Mint hasn't been featured in the Vivienne Westwood Heart Jelly shoe collection, as they are my absolute fav shoes of all time. But these Waterlily Snapdragon heels by Ravel and good contenders for the crown.
GROOM
Style Me Pretty |
Absolutely smitten with this Mint Pinstripe Suit and soft floral boutonniere combination - a Groom who wants to make a bit of a statement is fine in my book.
ACCENTS AND ACCESSORIES
Love the use of a subtle ombre to the cake icing, with simple yet bold sugercraft flowers for embellishment. Lush.
Peach, Coral and Salmon are all tones which work brilliantly with Mint, and can easily be incorporated into both Floral arrangements and general Table setting design.
Decoration from Pomtree |
Finally, for a WOW factor to the evening buffet table, a visual display of Pinwheels and Poms are both impressive and budget friendly.
